The Kwant Controls control units type BUK-B are medium sized console mounted lever units designed for propulsion control. They come in single or double lever execution with either a knob or cross bars. The BUK-B has been type-approved by the leading classification bureaus ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, GL, LRS, NKK , RINA and RMRS.

A typical unit is specified as follows:

1 - Control Unit, type BUK-B, suitable for mounting in a console. The instrument made of seawater proof aluminum alloy and executed with two side dials and one peripheral dial. The dials are protected by means of an unbreakable, transparent and UVproof protecting cover. All decorative parts are black anodized or black painted.

Description

The instrument equipped with:

a) 1- control lever with an adjustable friction device and a palpable stop in zero;

b) 1- telegraph transmitter/receiver (pointer type);

c) 1- transmitter 4-20mA. (Full AS =4mA, Full AH = 20mA);

d) 3- microswitches Ahead/Stop/Astern;

e) dial illumination with dimmer;

f) 1- buzzer for audible telegraph alarm;

g) 1- drive motor for the electric sahft system.
