The L-3 Simplified Voyage Recorder (SVR03) is a next generation final recording

medium stored in a protective capsule, specifically designed to be forward fit and backwards

compatible with a Simplified Voyage Data Recorder (S-VDR). The SVR03 provides a low

cost of ownership solution for the IMO mandatory fitment of existing cargo and tanker

vessels.
