The HLD-6300 MF/HF provides several unique new features such message replay functionality – a first for MF/HF radios, and the ability to connect two control units. A highly efficient power amplifier with control hardware ensures high performance and reliable communication in the marine bands from 1.6 to 30 MHz in TX mode, and ensures constant and full output power on all ITU channels

Simplified operation

The IC-M700PRO is easy to use whether you are new to SSB or an expert. Channel selection is quick and easy to access with large, independent GROUP and CHANNEL knobs. Each panel button has only 1 function. The large, easy to read display shows channel (or frequency) and operating status at a glance. A new green LCD is easy to see in sunlight, but not too bright for night operations.

The powerful 150 W* (PEP) transmitter provides long distance communication you can rely on. To make sure that power is always available to you—even during demanding RTTY (radio teletype) or E-mail operation—a large cooling fan combined with the IC-M700PRO’s aluminum chassis keep the radio cool. *60 W (PEP) above the 24 MHz bands

160 programmable, 242 ITU SSB duplex, 72 ITU SSB simplex and 662 ITU FSK duplex channels are available.

Rugged construction

marine environment.

Alphanumeric readout

The large, easy-to-read display shoes status at a glance. Seven characters can be programmed into each memory channel to conveniently display station names, ship names, etc.

150 W of output

A full 150 W (PEP) of output power is available for reliable long distance communication. A large cooling fan, in combination with the aluminum chassis, allows continuous transmission at full output power— even during demanding RTTY (radio teletype) and NBDP (narrow band direct printing) operation.

Standard 4 × 8 remote controller

The IC-M802 offers an industry-standard 4-inch tall (10.16

cm) remote controller. When set up with the IC-M502 VHF

radio, Icom offers you a complete communications station.

Large LCD with dot matrix characters

You can easily read the alphanumeric name of any of the

1355 ITU channels at a glance with the large LCD display.

Nighttime operation is no problem with 10 levels (plus OFF) adjustable backlit display and keypad.

Easy to use in all conditions

The IC-M802 offers two large dials – bank and channel

– for easy channel selection. Up to 16 banks of 20 (max.) each for user channels, and 17 banks for ITU channels are available
